What is a love box? It is what is called the Military Flat Rate Box that are free at the U.S Post Office that are filled with goodies and encouraging notes that are then mailed to our troops. You can check out the website at www.loveboxesforourtroops.com
Items for boxes: Cookies, beef jerky, salted peanuts, trail mix, sunflower seeds, fruit snacks, crackers, soup, sauces. Also: Hygiene items, DVDs, CDs, books, current magazines, games.
The Coos County Board of Realtors have taken this project on and the HBA has decided to partner with them. We will be stuffing boxes on July 16th at noon at the Red Lion. CCBR are hoping to do 36 boxes, shipping for the boxes is $11.95 per box.
